Walkers coming down the road from the summitThere is a lot going on at Te Mata Park this month, here is just a glimpse of what’s happening on the Peak and how you can get involved.

Tauroa Car Park Closure – The Tauroa Road car park is being tar sealed so will be closed from Monday 14 September to Friday 2 October, 2015.  This will prevent all access to the Park via Chambers Walk (including pedestrians and bikers).

The Draft Te Mata Park Management Plan is underway and we are seeking input from the public on how best to manage, protect and improve this wonderful community asset for future generations. Read more about it here.

‘Great Peak Pick Up’ on Sunday 20 September. The Pick Up team will be on site in the paddock on Waimarama Road opposite Craggy Range Winery from 10am-4pm. Help us give our Peak a Spring Clean!

We will be holding Community Open Days at Peak House on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October. Drop in any time between 10am and 4pm and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee on us while you share your ideas and feedback on the Te Mata Park Management Plan.
