Explore the best trails in Te Mata Park, whilst fundraising for a great cause!
Open to both runners and mountain bikers, the Peak Enduro is a unique, one-off event that is helping to raise funds for the One Giant Chance campaign, to buy new land for Te Mata Park.
Involving 5 awesome runs on Te Mata Peak, including the opportunity to explore (on trail) the new land that the Park is fundraising to purchase. A chance for a ‘sneak peek’ of what is in store for our park users!
Date: Sunday 2 December 2018
Time: Midday for runners. 1.30pm for mountain bikers (TBC)
Cost: $35 for 17 and over. $20 for 16 and under (as at 2 December 2018)

Briefing: Top of Te Mata Peak (please ride or run / walk up there) – details TBC
Prize giving: Tauroa Car Park, 4.00pm approx
Course: To be confirmed closer to the time, but will involve
- Te Ihu (the original MTB track from the top),
- Te Kahu (aka Flow Track),
- One uphill track,
- A track through the new land which the Trust is fundraising to purchase,
- AND – the 5th – will be a surprise.
Categories: Runners and Mt Bikers. Male and Female. Over 17 and under 16. Also a special category for the folks on e-bikes!
