Feedback on Plans for New Land

September 26, 2019

Thank you to everyone who attended the Community Feedback Session, held on 25 September.  The feedback was very positive, and all those who attended were exceptionally supportive.  We estimate that just over 100 people dropped in to Peak House from 2pm onwards.

The project timeline and concept plan were available to view, and comments were invited.  Mike Devonshire and Emma Buttle also gave a brief presentation on the intentions for the new land, as well as the wider vision for the Park.

To view the latest Concept Plan for the new land, please click HERE. **

** NOTE that this plan is still subject to further consultation and final approval by our Trustees and Mana Whenua Roopu.  This is the public feedback stage, and by no means should these draft plans be interpreted as the final outcome.

Please send your feedback through to Emma on email.  All comments, questions, ideas, suggestions are welcome.

Thank you for your support.

I all for that ,great Idea. ,but still we have a lot of worries about the road ,Tauroa rd,.
Lots and lots more traffic ,,,people still now go in the middle of speedbumps ,with a speed,
Some don’t hold back in speed and a lot slow down ,.
My point ,,get the safety of the road right. Council has the data ,,that proofs our point ,,
Lots and lots over the speed limits ,,the strait bit ,is still a race,.
Why is the police not involved ones in a while,.??
