Pink Ragwort is a weed that can spread rapidly, and is not welcome in our Park!  This time of year is ideal for removing them, before they start to seed.

The Pink Ragwort has a cluster of bright pink or purple daisy-like flowers with yellow centres.  If you spot one in the Park, please PULL IT OUT!  Ensure you pull gently, as the stalk snaps easily and the remnant will recover.

Thank you for your help.  From our wonderful Friends of Te Mata Park Volunteer Group.
